One weird problem

Postby lazyzombie on Fri Jul 07, 2006 10:29 am

Hi

I am playing dynasty mode with phoenix suns, which is a team at the rating of 91. However, after I have played 8 or 10 games, my team's rating suddenly drops to 72. Now it is almost 20 games and these ratings are still at 72. I have not made any personnel change and has always used the exactly same starting lineup. I also don't recall making any big change in any other settings. Has anyone else had simliar problems with this? Please help me on this if you can, thank you.

PS: when i try a quick match, suns is still a team of 91 on rating....

I've noticed it happen before. I'm not exactly sure what causes it and why it does it, but it seems to happen to the CPU teams as well. It shouldn't cause any problems.

i dunno...if it is like that i would be real happy.......the problem is, altho my players' ratings remain the same, one can tell they are really not the same as before......for example, amare stoudmare's inside scoring is way down, and all the shooters have to have longer release and don't shoot as well as before the ratings drop.........worse yet, all the cpu teams still have the same ratings....

Do u have any key player such as Nash injured or anything? That may cause it. If a player is having a bad month or sumthin than it dropsteams overall.

Haven't had that happen to me. Generally player ratings don't decrease unless there's an injury.

it is not really that their ratings decreased, when i view players, their ratings remain the same.......however, the way they play is really different, the shooters need to have longer release to hit 3s, and stoudmare used to do a little hook thing before when he gets just outside of painted area, now he just tries to dunk and usually gets blocked...

That really is strange. As I said I've never experienced anything like that, if it's a bug it's a rare one that you've had the misfortune to encounter.

ratings can go down when ur roster does not have 12 players. i had a 96 overall team and it went down to 72 when i waived to 11 players on my roster

ahh that is exactly right......i waived paul shirley and djarr thompson......to think that would cut down my team's rating that much, that is absurd....
