I completely messed the Bulls up. Need help. Story inside...

alright here's the story, I started with the Chicago Bulls. our original lineup was.........
PG-Kirk Hinrich(great shooter and passer)
SG-Ben Gordon(great shooter and scorer)
SF-Luol Deng(not great at anything but pretty good at some things)
PF-Jamison Wilson(my created player. an EXCELLENT rebounder)
C-Tyson Chandler(great defender)
6th Man-Jannero Pargo(a very good shooter if u put him in the right spots)

alright, so after playing 8 games i realized that Luol Deng was too slow to fit into our offensive system becuz i like to run up the court and get quick jumpers and layups. so i traded him to the Wizards for Antonio Daniels. who is alot faster...afterwards i realized that i still needed a fast scorer at the SF position and Antonio was too small.

so after about...21 games i traded Tyson Chandler to the Knicks in exchange for Jamal Crawford who is a quick shooter and scorer so i put him at SF. i signed Shawn Bradley who may suck but can block shots and rebound so i made him the Center. Jamal Crawford averaged 27 points a game with us, BUT he was only 6'5 so on defense he was getting murdered. dunked on, shot on. it was rediculous!!! so i had to get rid of him.

so by the time i had played 35 games, i traded Crawford to the Miami Heat for James Posey.(for some reason the Heat made D-Wade the 6th Man and have Crawford starting. wtf?) anywayz Posey is a versatile player who can defend, score, rebound, do it all good. aite so our final lineup for the rest of the year was.......

PG-Hinrich
SG-Gordon
SF-Posey
PF-Wilson
C-Bradley

aite, with this lineup we went on the be the #1 Team in the East with a 41-17 Record. we won the Finals in 3 Games over the Phoenix Suns. ....

alright when the offseason came, i REALLY wanted to get Joe Johnson on our team. I mean.....Ben Gordon is great and all but he's very small and not really a great defender. so i had plans of signing Joe. turns out.........this bastard chose to re-sign with the sorry ass Hawks!!! I also tried to sign Ben Wallace but he ALSO went to the Hawks. we all know Shawn Bradley sucks, so i signed Lorenzen Wright to a 5 Year deal.

alright since Joe didnt work out, my next plan was to trade Gordon away and get a point guard n trade Hinrich away for another great Shooting guard. Guess what?.......the plan tanked!!! alright so i traded Gordon for Jason Terry. then i had 2 point guards and no one wants that. NOBODY wanted to give me anything good for Kirk Hinrich so i let him sit for a minute. realizing that i needed a SG, I was forced to trade James Posey to Memphis for Mike Miller, (who turned out to be terrible. could shoot, but cant run or play defense) so NOW...I was stuck in another hole........i had no SF..sadly i was forced to trade Kirk Hinrich to the Wizards for...........Luol Deng!?!?!?!?!?!? after trading him away, earlier in the season i had to go back and get him becuz he was the best we could get at the time. all of the other Marquee Small Fowards were locked into their deals and the teams were not buzzing for Kirk so i had to settle with Deng's sorry ass.

so after all this was said and done my Starting lineup for the next season was..........

PG-Jason Terry
SG-Mike Miller
SF-Luol Deng
PF-Jamison Wilson
C-Lorenzen Wright

Mike Miller was a big time BUST. he runs MAAAAAAAAAD slow and doesnt defend very well at all. so he has been benched for the remainder of the season.
Jason Terry is a great scorer and all, but his jumpshot is very on and off. i was so used to hitting shots becuz with Hinrich and and Gordon, i virtually NEVER missed shots. he frustrated the Hell out of me when he missed the game winning shot against the Lakers and they beat us 96-95. he was wide open too!!! i got mad and by Game #4 of the 2nd season, i traded him to the Clippers for Cuttino Mobley.

my current lineup is.......

PG-Antonio Daniels
SG-Cuttino Mobley
SF-Luol Deng
PF-Jamison Wilson
C-Lorenzen Wright

our current Record in the 2006/2007 season is 4-5 and we have basically no cap room left(well...........about 3 Million dollars but that aint enuff to get what we need). we are basically another NEW YORK KNICKS. a bunch of overpaid uneccessary players.

this is the sad story of how a team went from Champions to a band of misfits and ballhoggs ALL becuz of a General Manager who wanted too much. ME =(

*Slaps myself*

i need advice, wut should i do?

I like this story !! Sounds really like Isiah Thomas ;)

But if you try to get this team on the winning road it will take more than one season.

But without any salaries posted I cant help you ...

sounds to me when u made u're huge mistkae was trading for a player u didnt want
Kirk for Deng
since u had a great line up

PG-Hinrich
SG-Gordon
SF-Posey
PF-Wilson
C-Bradley

u should of kept that n worked around u're bench
but then that only help because
gettin terry was good
n u shoudl of stopped there
cuz i think terry can play sg and pg
n then u can have u're line up looking like

Pg - Hinrich
Sg-Terry
Sf- Posey
Pf-Wilson
C-Bradly

but now u got that gone u're left with about .. 2-3 season in u
cuz now u're hope to draft excellent rookies who u can train if u have a a+ trainer
to me i say u should keep nocioni cuz he is a good sf
and if bardly retires keep sweetney .. and keep wilson.. mike miller is not u're type so try to trade him n look for a pg or a sg or C
cuz Mobley gettin old and u're gonan need a fit young pg who is a good passer to help out u're fast break offense and last try to nail on 1-2 superstars

i was thinking about trading Nocioni and Miller for a point guard. becuz i dont use either one of them and i REALLY need a point Guard.

I'm not looking to trade Mobley right now. he's averaging 32 points a game so far and has been shooting the 3 pointer very well. he's also done a good job on defense.

i'm not sure if anyone wants Deng right now so i'm just gonna let him sit for a minute. i might have to wait until the offseason to sign a good SF or draft one. just gotta wait and see

Of course Wilson isnt going anywhere. he averaged 17 points 13 rebounds last season and is averaging 13 rebounds and 12 points so far. i'mma lock him up into a long term deal when the offseason hits.

Lorenzen Wright has been OK. he's averaged 7 points and 7 rebounds so far, which is pretty decent, but he's not really good at blocking shots. if i see a decent trade for him, i will do it.

any more suggestions?

Wait till Iverson's Contract expires, then he's really old and has a lower rating but if you're lucky you can keep him into his late 30's and then make him you're pg and after he loses his scorer ability he still has playmaker...

SMFH. I cant believe Ben Wallace ditched us like that. I let go some of our guys who were in their last years of their contracts, just so i could sign him. and wut did he do? sign with the sorry ass Hawks. i also tried to sign Joe Johnson and wut did he do? went back to the Hawks.

i swear, when we play against the Hawks i'mma try to beat the dog shit out of them. lol

You do know that you can edit the first and secondary position of your players right???.....
You had 2 PG and no one wanted them so you should have changed their first position to SG and get more out of your trades.

You could try doing the same with Mike Miller, change him to a SF/SG and see if any teams would be interested in his services.

aite today i traded Mike Miller to the Nuggets for Andre Miller, becuz i really needed a solid point guard.

I also traded Luol Deng and Andres Nocioni to the Wizards in exchange for Caron Butler, who is very athletic.

yep. our record has improved. when i posted this thread, we were 4-5. now we are 11-8. were 6th in the East. and the East is pretty weak on live, so most likely we'll make the playoffs again. and if i get to the playoffs, i WILL get the championship.

True, Boykins can hit the open jumpshot all the way out to the 3pt line, Andre cant really shoot very well, but he's definitley more versatile, and hes a good defender so if you have a weak defender playing SG you can have Andre guard the 2.

Versatile guards like that are valuable. Steve Francis and Earl Watson also come to mind. I have Francis on the hawks and hes a way better defender than Joe Johnson so I always have him guard the better of the PG/SG and Fastbreak100 will have that ability with Andre Miller, which is important because Ben Gordon plays no defense.

I think you went a little over the top in the trade for Caron Butler. He is a good player but not at the value of both Luol Deng and Andre Nocioni.

yeah, the trade for Caron Butler lowered our rating by a few points, but he has been very solid for us. averaging 20 points 5 rebounds and 2 steals.

Silas..ur right. Andre Miller isn't a very good shooter but he's a great defender. he's bigger than most point guard in the leauge. he gets alot of steals for us. even though his jumpshot isnt great, he's still been gettin us 15 a night.
