Game gets stuck ...PLEASE HELP!!!!

Fri Jun 16, 2006 2:29 pm

Hi,

I recently installed NBA live 06 and for some reason it gets stuck after i play it for a while. it works fine at the start but like after half an hour or so it just gets stuck. for example if I'm in dynasty mode and trading players and let's say I have played the game for more than half an hour, it just gets stuck. mouse stops moving and the music stops too, and I couldnt even go back to the windows so then I have to restart my whole computer manually.

I have uninstall and then reinstall the game but it don't fix the problem. Can anyone please help me with this. I love this game so much and I would really appreciate if anyone can give me any patch or tell me how to fix this problem.

thanks in advance.

Comp specs:

Inter P4 2.0 GHz
512 MB RAM
Windows XP professional (service pack 2)
Radeon 9250

Hmmm, my first guess would be your videocard, but from what I see, your specs are fine. Are you running any other programs with it?

No I'm not running any other programs with it. I always make sure before I play the game that every window and program is closed.

what can be the problem then ???

check your temperatures. if everything freezes like that, something is prolly overheating. install speedfan and keep an eye on any abnormally high temps.

only nba live 06 freezes, other programs and games work perfectly fine. My windows never gets stuck like this, It's only nba 06. I dont think it has to do anything with the temperature.

there's no patch to fix this problem ??

windows isnt as ressource intensive as nba live. freezes are 95% temperature related. either that or bad memory on your vid.card.
