German 'translation' for English Version?

Hi,
I am currently living in the UK and I bought the game here. Even if understanding English is not a prob, I have difficulties with feet and Ibs, so there is my question, if there is a way to translate them into German?

No there isn,but maybe there's a German version of the game.My advice is try searching for a German version I think there was a translation.There is other language versions so there should be a German language version .

Um you mean patching the game to be german? Well I have a multi-language version which gives me the possibility to install the game in several languages. Just try to find out whether you can do so.
I doub't there's a patch out there and to be honest I believe this kind of data is hardcoded and cannot be edited. Just search on the net, there are several websites which can translate this kind of stuff into the metric system.

In previous live versions, the language values were stored in dbfs. Maybe it's the same this year.

Cant you choose to install it in English?

Languages aren't stored in any .dbf files any more. They are in the \NBA LIVE 06\loc\ folder. Not quite sure how to do the actual language switch, so I can't help you with that though. But it's probably enough with just replacing some files if you can get a hold of the default German ones.

but that's illegal isn't it? if i recall correctly thats the way you made the chinese torrent into english, so....
