I've recently simmed about 4 seasons and there seems to be a huge inflation problem in the league. Maybe it is just the roster pack that I am using (I installed it a few months ago can't remember from where) but after about 4 seasons every team is heavily capped out and nobody can make any moves on the free agent market. What this means is that players go through the process and end up resigning with their original team for $0!
It was bad enough that my Lakers had failed to make the playoffs after 4 years but to see all my rivals start signing their franchise players for free caused me to just go ahead and delete my dynasty.
Two side questions:

1. I made all my moves and decisions based purely on overall ratings and clearly my teams always sucked. Is this game capable of sensing the actual makeup of a team and taking that into consideration? The spurs ripped off 4 championships in a row with mediocre overall ratings so I am guessing that I should look more at the team concept.
2. Is there a way to stop a reordered roster from reorganizing or change player's default positions? I want Odom to start at PF but everytime somebody sprains an ankle I run off 5 losses in a row before I check injuries and see Odom back at SF.
