Move player between saved rosters?

I've been looking everywhere for an answer to this question, but have had no luck...

Is there any way to move a player (custom or not) between saved rosters or dynasties? I created a player and don't want to lose it when I upgrade to the latest roster update (1.08). I can't find any type of import/export feature within the game.

There's really no way to do exactly that, but you can create a new player and copy his .dbf info from the old roster. You won't be able to copy his face though, unless you have a cyberface.

You have to have a registered copy of DBF commander to do that don't you?

No, DB Commander remains functional after the trial period, except for a couple of features. You can still open two dbfs at once and copy data over manually. That's how I add new All-Stars to the game.
