End of season free agents

Postby Sir Robbie on Wed Mar 29, 2006 10:37 pm

I'm coming towards the end of my first season in Dynasty mode with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Here is a list of the guys who will be free agents at the end of the season:

(C) Dan Gadzuric ($720K)
(PF) Drew Gooden ($4.07M)
(SF) Donyell Marshall ($4.55M)
(SG) Michael Redd ($807K)
(PG) Damon Jones ($932K)

I want to resign everyone but Donyell Marshall and what I want to know is, do I get a chance to offer them new contracts first or can any other team offer them a contract right away?

For example, before I can offer Michael Redd a new contract, can say the Chicago Bulls come in and snatch him away with a new contract of their own?

You will have an opportunity to re-sign your own free agents before anyone else.

Yeah, great thing about Live (could be a detriment on the realistic side) is that your players always resign with you if you meet their initial salary and year demand. No other team can snatch your superstar away from you with a more enticing offer.
