Same deal. It involves editing the schedule, creating a custom one (using the schedule from the season you're re-creating would obviously be the most realistic) without the Bobcats. You might even be able to utilise data from the schedule in NBA Live 2000/2001 since I don't believe those dbfs have changed much since then.

Where can I get the NBA Live 2000/2001 schedule dbf?

If you don't have the games yourself perhaps someone could be so kind as to send them to you. ;)

I tried to convert the Live 2001 schedule.dbf into a Live 06 scheduleseason.dbf, but the game keeps crashing whenever I go into the calendar. Can you make a schedule.dbf editing guide like you did for the other dbfs on Live 06?

The file you want to edit is scheduleseason.dbf

DELETED: Standard column, all values set to True this time
TYPE: Seems like the standard value is 0 or blank
SPECIAL: Can be left at 0 as well
ID: Standard ID field, except they'd appear to be out of order
PERIOD: Can be left at 0
DATE: Date in YYYYMMDD format (eg November 13th, 2005 = 20051113)
TIME: Time of game in 24 hour format (eg 7:30 = 1930)
LOCATION: Seems to be all zeroes, I'm guessing that means it will just grab the home team's location as specified in location.dbf
PLAYED: Game has been played in season, True/False
OVERTIME: Game went into Overtime, True/False
TEAMHOME: The home team, refer to the Team IDs guide
TEAMAWAY: The away team, refer to the Team IDs guide
SCOREHOME: The home team's score. Leave at 0 for the default schedule file
SCOREAWAY: The away team's score. Leave at 0 for the default schedule file

Hope this helps, I'll post that on the main site soon.

if you edit the schedule so you play only one team, and you win that one game, are you the top team of the season because you have 0 losses?

Possibly. I have a feeling it might cause a crash though. You've got to be fairly precise with dbf editing these days.

2klakers, maybe u could replace the bobcats with something like the NLSC All-Stars? I know that it takes away from some of the realism, but it mite be cool.

The problem is, they'd still be showing up in the season so editing the schedule would be the best option. Still a nice idea for exhibition games with those rosters though. (Y)

I know I'm trying to hijack a thread, but I think it's related. Can you change Schedule.dbf with the home and away teams swapped so that I play at other arenas. i'm currently playing a 29 game season , into my sixth year and I'm sick of always being on the road/home to the same teams?

Worked it out. Pretty easy, just swap home and away teams ids. Now, who do I want to play away to...........................?
