camera angle changes game??

Postby volsey on Sun Mar 26, 2006 10:07 am

well live 06 has been making me really frustrated for the past week or so, none of my wide open shots were goin in, cpu was always making insane stupid shots, and stuff like that, i started my new cavs season 0-4... then i decided to change the camera angle from baseline low to press box for no reason at all and everything was perfect again, i was making good shots and my games were alot closer and more fun... i ended up losing my first game against detroit with the diff cam angle but it was still a much better game.. so anyway does anybody else notice a difference in gameplay when they change their camera angle, ive always noticed that gamespeed seems to increase drasticaly but i always thought it was just cause of the view

well csause at certain angles you can see things easier than others. like press box better for rebounding and breaks. i definatly enjoy playing the game more at press box.

I only ever play on press box so I don't really notice much of a difference. But as Jing said, there's different visibility with different angles and if you play at one particular angle more often you'll find you have a better understanding of positioning and whatnot.

I play w/ the baseline angle more, can see things better. You play better with the camera angle you're used to.

i REALLY dont like press box, only the default camera angle feels normal to me, but that may just be because thats the only angle i've ever played with in all the NBA Live and NBA 2K games.

Press Box is the closest to the TV angle in my opinion.

I used the baseline high, I can set-up my plays easily, i play the off-ball very often, and the pick and roll so its easy for me to find the open man when i used this angle.

In general, I've experienced that the closer angles (e.g. Center Court) slow the game down slightly, but at the cost of not being to see everything occurring on the floor (just like real basketball). The baseline angles give the best views, so I find them the easiet to play good offense and defense. But I like the TV angle because my favorite angle for watching the game also happens to be my favorite angle for playing.

Baseline Low because you can see the whole court including the opposing basket. Press Box sucks.

when you play with baseline high is just like a better baseline low, you see all things that are happening with baseline HIGHm i used to play LOW but then i tried HIGH and it was much better
