it is very easy to drive in to the basket with outside superstars, and i think this is their only advantage.
as to the inside scorers, it is very hard to stop them, they are 99% unblockable, and you can just use them near the basket, especially with that hook shot, who got an high percentage shot.

yeah highflyer is easy to me cause you just get fouled, or posterize the comp. power is like highflyer also.

outside scorer is pretty easy to me, especally the runner and the up and under.

Outside scorers
With outside scorers, if you get close to the basket and are moving towards it, hold the FSS button and press the pass button to do a lay-up which is (I think) impossible to block and the only way to stop it is to foul. The animation changes depending on whether you hold the button (pass) or tap it.

Use the FSS button + shoot when moving away from the basket to perform off-balance or turn-around jump shots. Also can be used while backing down. If used while moving towards the basket or while still, he performs a kinda double-pump shot.

Use the FSS button + pro-hop when on the run. The player will perform a running jump shot which is fairly accurate if used from the right range. If used while standing still or moving away from the basket, the player whill perform a one-handed-bank-shot-runner. This is very accurate if used when with about 15' from the basket, the further out you are, the less accurate.

Use the FSS button + dunk when driving to the basket, press it from a fair way out (can be used form at least 20' if you are moving directly to the basket. Tapping the dunk button causes the player to pretend to go behind the back for a lay up, holding the button causes the player to rotate the ball arond his body while laying it up.

I hope this helps.

Note: when a outside scorer is in triple threat position, if you hold the FSS button, he will perform different fakes when you move the right-analog stick around (i don't know how to do it with keyboard).

Inside Scorers
FSS + Dunk performs a lay-up which can't be stripped (I think), use this only when facing the basket or it won't work and he will throw up some retarded looking shot which doesn't usually go in.

FSS + Pass performs a running-jump-hook which is very accurate from 15' or closer. This is a very easy way to score because this shot is very accurate, don't use it too close to the baseline because of the chance he might run behind the backboard and chuck it out of bounds (in the back of the backboard).

FSS + Shoot is the same/similar to the outside scorers ability, check above for more details. It is very useful to use when backing down because it creates space for an open shot.

FSS + pro-hop is also the same as outside scorers, see above. Use this when in the post and you want to bank it in (be moving backwards or not moving at all).

FSS + right analog stick in triple threat can do some special post moves apparantly but I'm not sure and I've never tried to do them.

High flyers are easier to stop... Get your defensive point/off guard quickly into his lane and use freestyle + charge = OFFENSIVE Foul. Can easily be done by defensive point guards i.e, Jason Kidd, Tinsley and Iverson.

raise offensive fouls to 100.... and just draw a foul every time somone uses scorer, highflyer or power moves. thats how you stop them from abusing you.

Except if the CPU has the highflyer and you do freestyle charge, 90% of the time the foul isn't called, or it's called on you.

drawing the charge works for me most of the time. especially when its late in the game, i have the lead and the cpu is attacking agressively with a scorer, power or flyer guy. catching a knee in the face is worth it....heh

like i said off fouls at 100
