can someone please explain it to me.

Hello guys, I am a regular nba live player. I usually play live on ps2 but yesterday I purchased live 06 for pc for a couple reasons... because its on sale, and I know the graphics would look so much cleaner, and one last thing is because of the rosters. I just wanna make this thing clear... Are the rosters only good for single player? Is there any way I can play online with the new roster that I've downloaded? When I play live on ps2 online I usually use the pacers because of artest but the pc version doesn't even have artest!! What's is going on?? I mean, the whole reason I got the pc game is because to download the new rosters and play with my sacramento kings along ron artest but I can't even get it to work online.. I'm hoping someone can answers my questions and please don't flame me for whatever reasons. If you are also going to tell me search this, search that... I can't do that right now because I'm browsing the net through my sidekick and its kinda slow. Someone please help me and I would really appreciate it. I want ron artest on my sac kings so I can school you guys. :) thanks.

What do you mean roster from ea online server? I downloaded the nlcs patch by andrew... Is that it?? Or does ea updates their own rosters??? Thanks..

EA does, but not this year. I think if you replace the DBF files in the OriginalDBF folder with the ones from Andrew's roster, you may be able to use them. Remember to back up the OriginalDBF files first, in case you need them again. Both you and the player you play against need the same DBF files though.

I have already done that.. Switching the dbf files and stuff...so I guess both players must have the same files? And one more thing... Last night when I played online, this guy picked the spurs and I think he had a different line up and so did my team.. The announcers called parker "jason kidd" and other players with different names too which I can't recall, I picked the sixers and the announcers were calling igoudala "barry" something and the players were getting by their numbers instead of their last names. Is this because I changed the dbf files??? or is it some kind of error? Thanks for replying guys

It's a bug with online play. Doesn't matter whether you've replaced the default files or are using the original rosters, it seems to mess up. Also, please note that the host's rosters are used so if you're the away team (joining a game), you won't be using the NLSC update unless the other person is also using it for online play.

Thanks for replying so quick guys. You guys are making my work time go by so fast! :) more questions: what are the percentage do you guys think that have andrews' rosters? And is there any easier way to get a low ping game so that the game don't lag when people are running down the court or when the camera is moving? I know its not my video settings because it works perfectly fine on singleplayer. Thanks guys

Your settings may be fine on single player, but over the 'Net they may slow things down. It's best for both guys to sacrifice the graphics and play with low settings.

Oh, and try not to click Submit twice, just be patient.
