When I go on the net and search for my IP Address to play online games, it is different from the IP address the NBA Live game gives me. Which IP address should I use?

if it starts with 197.168 use the other... what are the ip's if not?

The beginning of 192.168 is the default assigned router IP, given automatically. If you're behind a router, you will most likely have this. Otherwise, it may begin with 64.129. etc, etc.

if you go to this link: www.whatismyip.com . this is your true ip address, your friend should connect to this if you want to host a game. if ever you're in the office and under a server, you would have a local ip address which is different from what is written from the abovementioned url. in direct ip games, you need to turn the firewall off in order to play games. but if you are under a server, the main server's firewall should be disabled otherwise you can't play even if you switched the firewall from your pc off.
