Come on guys, a little less abrasive, please.
You cannot manually retire players. At least not from within the game. You can however edit the roster files on the PC version to take a player out of the active rosters and not show up in Dynasty Mode.

i retired Allan Houston's jersey but forgot to save so i'm the knicks will still no retired jerseys, oops
