Shader Model 3.0 Question

Talk about NBA Live 06 here.

Shader Model 3.0 Question

I have an Nvidia Geforce 6600GT, 512 mb ram, 1.6 Ghz processor and when i play the game i put everything on max with no problems but it doesn't look like the Shader Model 3.0 is enabled and suggestions????

i dont think live06 uses SM3.0

That is very correct. NBA Live 06 utilises SmartShader 2.0, which is a generation old, but still potent. I am pretty sure SmartShader 3.0 is used in DOOM3, and the newer first-person video games.

Displacement mapping would look awesome for Live's graphics. Hope they implement SM 3.0 in live 07.
