A second Lorenzen Wright

I've been following these forums for about one and a half year and finally I decided to join. And with my first post I wanted to congratulate Andrew for his magnificent work. Both NLSC Roster Patches and Sliders helped me enjoying the game through out a whole year.

And by the way, I just encountered something awkward in my new Lakers Dynasty. At the begining of the season, I made trade for L.Wright and Pau Gasol for Odom and Kwame. After playing half a year, I checked the upcoming freeagents and I recognized a second L. Wright with the same contract as the orginal one, but has lower overall rating and 2007 years of age

I'm not sure if this is something only happened to me or not, but I haven't done serious .dbf editting.

Shouldn't be an issue with the patch. I'm not sure what exactly causes it but some other people seem to have encountered that error after editing players.dbf.

i've never messed with my DBF editing, and i noticed that two players with expiring contracts in my knicks dynasty (quintell woods and J. Butler) have an age of 2007, lol.

i dont patch and its on my game too, but it just means that you are looking at his contract from the lakers point of view. Don't worry nothing bad is gonna happen

I think what happens is, the dynasty .dbf automatically adds the players to your team to some sort of special team and their ID's are like 4000. It isn't something to worry about... doesn't mean that your dynasty will crash bang BOOM *computer explodes*

whoa... yea thats weird... but very cool

Perhaps it's a by-product of a player getting cut and signing elsewhere, even so that would be strange since no other versions of the game 2000-onwards have represented "waived salaries" like that.

That happened to me once, but I didn't really cared or noticed...

I didn't care about this too . Actually, to be honest, I never had time to play the game after encountering this problem. I just wanted to inform Andrew incase this can be something with the update.

But what I seriously wonder is, what will happen to this "overaged" Lorenzen at the end of the season. I'm guessing he will retire
