Nowitzki. He can shoot over people and hit the three-pointer.

This suggestion has nothing to do with the fact that he's German though right?

*g* Maybe a little. But you gotta admit that he's one of the best shooters in the game. And the fact that he's so much taller than other shooters makes him almost impossible to defend. There are other guys who can turn around games, of course. Like Korver, Iverson, Redd, Allen, Ginobili. Those are all great clutch shooters. I think I came up with Nowitzki first because I just started a new dynasty with the Mavs. I traded away Dampier, Terry, Stackhouse and still I win thanks to Dirk. Whenever the game is close, I give it to him and he almost never disappoints me.

BTW: Am I the only one who has problems hitting threes with Peja? I don't know why, but I can't make a single shot with him...

i also DO NOT recommend Kyle Korver, he sucks in this game for some reason, even if he is wide open at the 3, he bricks it every time. in 2 games in my dynasty i have taken 7 threes... he's 0-7

plus i have been the Sixers a couple times outside of my dynasty (playing a friend or whatnot) and he sucks their too, so i'm not just basing this on my 2 games in my dynasty

but a good one is MIKE JAMES

lol, i have mike james on my team (obviously cause i play with the raptors), and his threes are hit or miss, if he has been hot for that game and sinking threes, then almost any three i throw up with him goes in, but if hes gone like 0-3, im almost destined to finish the game with him hitting no threes at all. one guy i suggest thats really good at threes is kapono. he doesnt have the shooter superstar thingy but can easily go 4-5 from three point line in any game. he shouldnt be a primary option though.

how does 15 times 3 make 30? 15 times 2 = 30. 15 times 3 = 45

I kinda agree. It is hard to imagine Korver shooting many shots without making one. Unless they are all highly contested. What plays are you running? Do you release the ball at it's highest point? Try turning on CPU shot control and see if he still misses. Take Korver to the practice court. Shoot a ton of times with him til you get the timing down. Each player's timing is a little different based on style, jump and height. I played a season with Peja, and then switched to Korver the following season...had a tough time the first few games because the top of his jump was different than Peja's funky release. hehe. But now he is draining 3's left and right. But he has to be open for the shot to have a good percentage.

For the original question I agree with Nowitzki, but he can't really create a shot on his own, you have to rely on being able to hit contested jump shots (which he does all the fucking time against me).

I like AI because down the stretch you can isolate him against his defender and run down the clock until you drive past and either pull up or do the freaking imbalanced lay-up which can't be stopped.

Also about pega and korver, I have never actually used Pega because I can never be fucked trading for him and I love Korver, I agree that he sometimes misses open shots but he hits contested ones and he gets on runs where he hits like 6 in a row.
