How do I set up my controller properly on the pc version?

I have the Xbox 360 controller for pc and I try to set up the controller but it doesnt recognize the triggers when i try to set the configuration and the controller doesnt work in the menus either. How can I get it to recognize the triggers and work in the menus?

make sure it is installed properly

maybe thouse kind of triggers aren't supported by live 06?

I was actually wondering about this myself. I have the 360 controller, and everything is working fine EXCEPT those triggers. I was hoping that maybe somebody had made a program/util/etc. that would make the game recognize the triggers somehow. If someone here has heard of such a utility, or has the ability to and is willing to make such a utility, I, and I suspect many others like me, would be most greatful. Thanks in advance.
