Inside Stopping - FFS ability

Wed Feb 01, 2006 6:50 pm

I can use most other superstar abilities well and have figured out how to work them, but I can't seem to get the Inside Stopper's blocking to work on a regular basis. I sometimes get the two handed block (looks similar to a volleyball block) and have seen a spike block (reminiscent of a volleyball spike, I have many video's of Ben Wallace doing this). But I have found that I usually just end up fouling, not jumping at all or jumping in a completely different direction.

Does anyone have any tips on how to time the ability?

I am playing on superstar with the default sliders for it, I have only been noticing this difficulty on this level of play. I had the hang of it on Allstar and was able to spike most shots with Amare or Howard (that was really funny :D ).

It's really bout timing...if you could rape them in AllStar surely you can get some blocks on superstar

I have been practicing with Shaq vs some-shit-pg-with-no-fg-or-3pt-that-only-takes-layups. But I probably hit the block in about 1 out of 15 attempts. It is really shitting me, do I have to hold the block button and take the big swing or tap it and take the small swing? Do I have to press the button before they attempt the lay-up or after they start laying up?

when they are just about to release because your player has to react
