okay this may have been discussed before but i couldnt really find anything on it so sorry if im repeating. but im having trouble posting up, in 04 there would be a button for backing down/protecting the ball when posting up, but for some reason it seems to have disappeared from 06 so now whenever i pass the ball inside my guy cant advance towards the hoop properly unless i cross over or hop step. that back-down button in 04 was so useful and i was wondering how i could do that in 06 and if i cant, why EA got rid of it

Caps lock abuse should be a punishable offense. If you want to emphasize what you're saying, try bold. Much easier on the eyes.

Yes, it's been posted before, many, many times, so it's not like it's not there, you just have to look a little harder next time kobesteak.
The backdown button has been replaced with an analog stick direction in NBA Live 06. So if you have a controller with an analog stick, all you got to do is hold it down.
If you only have got a keyboard, you can just follow this tutorial to ad a button for it on your keyboard: http://www.nbaliveforums.com/sutra434353.php#434353.
And if you don't want to do that, I suggest you buy a controller or play without the backdown feature. Easy enough.
