What should I do with Walker!?

Postby SirCharles on Sat Jan 07, 2006 9:50 pm

I'd really like to trade Antoine Walker away for a C, PF or a SF. He's doing quite fine but his salary is too high. But getting rid of A.Walker ain't easy, nobody wants him! What should I do!? Who could I trade him for, I've tried a lot of different trades but none works... (I managed to trade him for okafor tho, but then I forgot to save and the same trade won't happen anymore..)

I would release him and let him rot away on the free agency list.

The computer never says yes for trade picks. Always it says that they are not interested.

wankster I have the same problem with that bastard Desmond Mason
He's got like 7 mil a year, 2 years left. Ben Wallace, Amare Stoudemire, Damon Jones, and Chris Wilcox all end after this year. I gotta trade him so I have room to sign at least 3 of the 4. But they hate trading picks, and the main problem is cap space. Nobody else has cap space!!!

I found out a solution to my problem. Here's my trade :

A.Walker and B. Diaw

for

A. Bogut and T. Kukoc

Bogut was a showstopper in his debut (19 pts, 11 rebs) and Kukoc is one of my all-time favourite players. Diaw never got to his level so I decided to let him go ( and his ratings are a bit too low I reckon )

I'd trade for Theo Ratliff. Ratliff is very useful and has a huge contract which expires (Y)

Yeah, Kukoc is old, but he's a magician with the ball...really! Ever since I saw him play at the 92 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, I've considered him one of the best shooters and dishers in the game! :o
