Need some help in changing the intro movie...

Caould somebody give me some tips,cause I tried different programs,coders,decoders
and I still can't do it...I know that it's possible,but I can't make
it work...I would really appreciate if somebody could help me,
because I want to change the intro for the eyroleague mod.
NBA video files as far as I saw are in VP6 format,how can I convert any file to VP6 video file?
