Roster reverting to default during season

I'm in the middle of a season and I realized that the roster reverts back to the default one. Not sure when this happened and why it happened. I'm using Andrew's new roster patch. What can I do to stop the computer from changing the roster to the default one during a season?

never experienced something like that. rosters are included in the savegame so they shouldn't be able to change back

That's really strange. The roster patch won't affect any seasons in progress and the game shouldn't be restoring the default rosters. Haven't heard of anything like that happening since NBA Live 95.

every computer team or just one?? cause if its just one...maybe they signed someone or traded someone

Ok, just realized I made a stupid mistake. It didn't restore to its default rosters. I think there were injuries on the other teams, and they replaced the injured player with one from the IR, ie. Amare Stoudamire, so I thought it restored to its original roster.
