Should I Train Darko Milicic

Postby Melo Man on Fri Dec 23, 2005 3:42 pm

HELP Im about to start a pistons dynasty and I was wondering if i should train 20 year old Darko Milicic. Some of his ratings are:

Ins.Scr 68, Blk 67, Speed 67, Quick 70, D.Reb 75, O.Reb 8, Stam. 18, Jump 35

I think his stam should be alot higher because in the pre season he got to play about 22 min a game. Any suggestions?

I give almost every player a shot. Darko seems to improve quite a lot, so I think you could if you don't mind his bloated salary.

Im pulling for Darko because I want him to prove all the haters wrong. but his stam is a serious problem. I would have to strap dowm some A+ ath. coaches on him for years. I love his rare stats though. 7 footer with 50 dribb, 67 spd, and 70 quick(damn good for a big guy.. But what i really like is his 75 d.reb because once i got it up to 89 in 3 yrs. I think Im going to pick Chan Frye and work on him along with darko.By the way what young players have you been developing lately?

how is Andrew Bogut coming along. in my live 06 book it says you should work on his ins. scr and seeing its already 75 that don't sound to bad. Oh and drop the kittie i like how you wrote that. Very interesting just to be talking about a game. you wrote it like it was real life or something! Well good luck on that young dynasty and thanks for the pointers on Darko

bogut starts better, and finishes better than darko, but they both increase the same amount (about 15-20 in their rating)

darko went from 56-76 in my dynasty, Bogut from 74-92

I love working on Deron Williams, whenever I have a team of superstars, he's always the lowest rated (at like 82 while Bogut and Villa are at 93) but he leads the team in scoring (like 24 points) and assists, it might be the primacy rating but i've done like 4 dynastys with him and he's always improved like that, he turns into a Shooter and a playmaker...

The easiest FSS ability to train up is Shooter. Just stick an A+ coach on a rookie with 50 in FT, FG and 3pt and he'll become a shooter in the future (CJ Miles comes to mind)

92  ! thats just sick. so what kind of superstar did bogut become?Man Darko is one of my favorite pistons. Yeah he may not be good right now but all he needs is about 10-15 mins and adv. about 5 rebounds, a blk, and a stl/ast and I thik he might catch up to the passing center star. What do you think?

I like chris paul alittle more. I tried to trade the new orleans but they just flat out rejected is several times. oh and did you say Charlie Villa went to 92! I thought he would max out around 80-82
