I never bother with allstar weekend so that is no big deal.
I do play dynasty but i play all 82 games and after i win it all i start another one with a different team(last week i finished my 82games with NJN and the playoffs in which i played every game and have yet to even check out the finals MVP because now im 11 games into my ATL dynasty).
As far as freestyle superstars yea its nice to have the highflyers on the break dunkin on people but the only moves i really use are some of the passes and the post up fade away moves. I will definitely miss these moves but that wont make or breake the game IMO.
Wit the thought of a realistic lookin game and decent game play thats enough for me for EA's first time around. I hear some flaws with the gameplay but there isnt a sports game on the market that doesnt have flaws in it. For most people live missin these features will make them steer clear of it which is cool cause if thats wat u want and u know ur not gonna get it then this game isnt for u its that simple but for me its enough for now.
No All-Star Weekend mean no All-Satr game. There are problems with the camera angles and the camera zoomign system. I have to admit, NBA 2k6 seems like a better game than nba live 06 on the 360.

We played 5 games each on Live and 2k6 and then some Perfect Dark Zero split screen which was fun and the game looks incredible. Then we played some Project Gotham 3 which was freaking great. I wish I could have played Madden one of my favorite games.. Like I said the Live was really cool and I was enjoying it quite a bit then we threw in 2K6 and it won me over. We where playing 2k6 on Hall of Fame difficulty playing against one another. It felt and looked like a actual game going on screen. The Live game just felt sluggish and slowed to much. We tweaked it some on the sliders and it helped out a lot. The free throw thing in Live is really hard to do because you don't really know how to judge your input. I think I was like 4 for 15 from the line on LiveYou can also run 2k6 at 1080i and Live is only 780p and I will be running it on a 62" Mitsubishi 1080p DLP set so it should really look nice. Trust me Jae I have hated 2k6 the last couple of years and have played hundreds of games on Live on my PC. I don't post much here and might look like a noob here because I have been a lurker around here forever. I usually just read and download but I wanted to get involved with the discussions on the 360. Hope this clears it up.

the gameplay might be sweet, but as far as im concerned, without a dynasty mode, there is no game.

and the default quarter length is now eight minutes in order to get more realistic NBA stats and scores (or so EA says)

Oh, there's a "cool" loading screen? WHO THE FUCK CARES ABOUT LOADING SCREENS? It's stupid to begin with and will get old very quickly. They might as well let me play Galaga, that'd be more fun.

What do you think about the speed of the game? I had it up to 95 and then the thing ran laggy and the guy's would jitter like which is just as bad. I'll keep playing around with the settings and see what I can come up with.
