Off the glass?

is it possible to use the glass (in an actual game that is, and not in the slam dunk contest) in making a shot?if im not mistaken ive somehow made a shot that my player (cant remember who) uses both hands and shoots off the glass when he was near the basket?i cant seem to repeat the shot?does anyone know the button (s) to use to make that kind of shot if theres any?thanks!

It's a layup. Sometimes they do it high off the glass.

I think if you are a Highflyer, and tap the off-ball button when you are on your own on a break away, he will throw it off the glass for a self alley-oop. At least that's what I was told...
