Talk about NBA Live 06 here.

I've tried using fshline to split the jersey fsh file into editable files and then erasing the letters in photoshop, but after rebuilding the fsh file with fshline and then importing it back into my jersey viv file the game crashes. fshx doesn't work either since I can't export/import alpha information with it.
Does anyone know how to do this?

If you'd rather work with the alpha channels, I recommend nfshtool. It's my favourite tool, and it can handle most (if not all) texture-related stuff. It's just that it has its limitations when it comes to really large textures.
I have no idea if it'll work with what you're trying to do, but it's worth a shot I suppose...

Have you used nfshtool to do 06 jerseys? That's the tool I used to do some of my numbers in Live 2004, but in 2006 any fsh I build with it crashes the game. For instance, if I take the 94 rockets away jersey viv, extract the fsh with bigGUI, and then run nfshtool -nba housc94a.fsh then rebuild it having made no changes whatsoever to any of the files (nfshtool -nba housc94a\index.fsh) and import the fsh back into the viv with bigGUI and then rebuild until the index doesn't change as outlined in the documentation, the game crashes immediately when I play with that uniform. Same if I omit the -nba flag from the commands.

It came out a newer version of nfsh tool last year, so you might want to try that. I'll send it to your email...

I'm pretty sure it's the same one you sent me, Andreas, beacuse the one I had is exactly the same number of bytes as the one you sent me. Thanks for sending it though.

It is version 2.20. Is that the one you got, because he released it around last New Year I think.

Duh... I can just import a blank png into blet with FshX to get rid of the names, which I've now done for all the old-school gear.
