Im stepping in.

I've been a live player since 95 on a genesis. Ive enjoyed it every year including this one. I,ve finely got the defense thing down and now I,m enjoying the game more. Although Ive been playing for more than 10 years, this is the first year Ive had a good enough connection to play online. Ive enjoyed i until I played this guy who used Detroit and he made lik 30 3pters and 20 lobs from half court. It was ridiculous that the game can be played this way. Hello, its called live, like it should play like real life.

Last year I tried out 2K5 for the first time. I sold it after a week.
What are we basketball gamers going to do. We have a very flawed Live and a very awfull 2K. I havent tried 2k6 yet. Let see.

The problem is i sold my PS2 to preorde a 360 but I got the big suprise there are no more 360,s for preorder in USA. Incredible. So Ill have to stick with my 06.

I still having fun with it. Check out the playmakers sticky and work the sliders and work youre freeking defense and youll have more fun.

After playing this game for a couple weeks, it reminds me why I no longer run NBA Live leagues. People who spend alot of time organizing leagues spend more time trying to tweak the game than actually playing. It's truely rubbish.

Well, believe what you will. But if you'd bothered to look into the context of that quote, you'd see I was talking about respecting each other's opinions and having good discussions rather than slinging insults back and forth. Since that was met with a smart remark about me being a roster patcher and not a preacher, I merely defended my right to speak my mind on whatever topic takes my fancy, whether it be NBA Live or people's attitude. The same as you have the right to criticise NBA Live and tell your contacts what you think of the game.

I do get annoyed with the same flaws showing up year after year in the game. I don't regret buying it though, as their are some fun innovations.

Other than that...this thread is pretty funny.

tool ? lol. Try and buy a script online for free that someone put well over 3 years into it. You wont find many that are totally free, Lets see you write a script for 3 years then give it away. Until you do that worry about yourself.

I didnt write a script that took 10 mins to make or even a week. My script has over 3 years of tweaking and modifying into it. Ive seen the madden league manager script sell for 300$ to multiple people.

How many scripts/patches etc do you see on the NLSC that people charge money for?

I thought the game ate huge fucking nuts, Big waste of money, I'll probably just get it refunded or exchange. 2005 and 2006 have just been masked up with special feature but the general gameplay has still sucked.

I think they should go back to the 2003 Model, I liked that game, It was much smoother then 2004/5/6 and it was fun as well. I think they should aim for a game more like that.

But perhaps it's just me getting sick of video games.
