Cant seem to post up

I play on a pc and have a controller similar to a PS2 controller, but i cant seem to post up at all. When it try to use to R analog stick as per instructions, i do some of the freestyle moves, but cant back down defenders and its driving me . Can anyone tell me how? I hope i missed someting simple.

You have to hold the actual Freestyle Superstar button at the same time I think

i dont think you need to hold the freesyle superstar button to post up. If moving the right analog stick down doesnt work, try left or right. The axis on the right analog stick as defined on the controller per Live06 maybe reversed...

or you may try to reconfigure your controller by switching from offense/defense to freestyle control i think... (there are other options in the configure controller)
