Hiring Assistant coaches?

Postby yoss1234 on Wed Oct 05, 2005 6:48 am

Ok, does anyone know which is the best way to hiring assistant coaches yet?

Obviously with the limited amount of money, you have to balance out your staff. What I'm wondering is, is it better to hire one A+ coach or two lesser coaches who has something like A+, D, E and D, A, A+? I chose the latter although it will cost more combined because I thought it'd allow me to train multiple players at once with greater focus on specific areas. But now I'm all confused because they seem to have no pattern on who they improve and when they report these improvements.

And what's the difference really between training for 1 week and for 4 weeks? Or focusing all the training on one area vs. spreading it out over 2, 3 areas?

I know the game hasn't been out long but just wondering if anybody has yet figured this out. Oh, and does the amount allocated for staff hiring change, or rather increase, at all after a year? Maybe owner would give you more support money-wise if your team does well?

Try going with the strongest aspect of the coach with the weakest of your team. For example if your team is Suns your weakness is D so get a coach withan A of Defense

Okay well my strategy is two sign the cheapest Trainer and the cheapest scout then use the rest of the money to sign a assistant Coach with A+ in Offence and an A+ in Defence... then the difference between 1 and 4 weeks is that they concentrate on the player longer and he learns more... and if you focus in 1 area, more will be learnt in that one area...

the amount of money allocated for staff hiring does increase after each year.. slightly but i haven't compared it to the final season of a dynasty yet so.. im not quite sure if it decreases as well..

I just started a dynasty and hired three asst coaches with an A+ coach for each category. Overall, they were all D or C+ types so they were kinda cheap.
