DBF Editors and NBA Live 06

How do I edit a player's height/weight for Live 06?

There isn't any information of that type that I've seen in Players.dbf and I can't figure out how Appearance.dbf relates to Players.dbf.

the playerid field on the players.dbf corresponds with the appearid in the appearece.dbf file. from there on you can edit whatever you want to in appearence.dbf.

Yeah, I figured that out like 20 min after I replied to my own thread...

Now I just have to figure out what the muscles values are... I figure if Kevin Willis is a 1, it's a good thing, right?



Someone should make a friendlier GUI editor for Live 06 the way they did for Live 03 (the MS Access toolkit), where everything is done through one GUI editor and you don't have to shuffle back and forth between DBFs.

It was so convenient, I loved that editor because I could edit career types, dunk packages, height/weight, ratings, everything...

There's some new fields this year. I'll be writing up the guides for NBA Live 06, it's just a lengthy process and I haven't had the time to sit down and do that yet.
