Every year since 98 I have went out and bought Live the day it came out. This year I was really excited to hear that it had major improvements, and it was going to be 10x better. Well, after playing it for a week or so, I'm sick of the game, and will be making the switch to the 2k series. I've finally realized that I'm way too much of a simulation fan to continue to not play 2k. There's so many glitches to this game it's unreal.
In my dynasty w/ the Nets, whenever I simulate, VC will take 0-2 shots a game, and I'll have TRAVIS FREAKING BEST take 5-6. Pathetic.
I drove the lane and went to dunk over Marbury with VC. Marbury blocked my shot.
You can't guard opposing PG's...they are too quick.
I've never seen a team with mroe offensive rebounds than defensive rebounds.
Skating is terrible. I repeat, TERRIBLE
I don't know how many times I've played teams and maybe their 3rd or 4th best player leads the team in FGA and points.
Why do they make it so you have to hold the shoot button longer each difficulty you go up. That's rediculous. Ever notice if you shoot the way you do on superstar while playing rookie, you'll miss?
Way too many missed dunks/layups.
Positioning means nothing when rebounding. Random vacuuming owns all.
Outside stopper is way too easy to steal with.
CPU teams are retarded during a close game. They're down by 3 and end up shooting a 2 from the low block with 2 seconds left.
I still like Live, don't get me wrong, but simple things that could be fixed that would make the game INCREDIBLE, are missing.
I think tomorrow I'm going to rent 2k6 and see how that is. This year may be goodbye to Live.
