PC - Help for the poor :)

If i remember correctly - Live 2005 had the option to play with 16bit graphics which helped alot considering my poor video card (mibility radeon 7500).
The weird part is, radeon 7500 (not mobility, though) meets the minimum requirements for live 2006 but not 2005, yet, 2005 runs very good comparing to 2006 which is unplayable at 1024X768.
As i've mentioned before, i think the 32bit graphics has a lot to do with it.
Any one knows if there's a manual option to change the graphics into 16 bit (or basically any other thing that can help).

PS.
800X600 looks horrible, so i don't consider that as an option...

OK, i'm a little confused...
Several posts below i've read that practically everyone report that Live 2006 run at least as good as Live 2005, if not better.
It seems i'm the only case it's the other way around...
Oh, well...
