Talk about NBA Live 06 here.

How can i post up

This year there is no button to post up the only way i can postup is to push the right trigger down and that sucks.
So its not possible to make a hook shot only Big player like Shaq can make hook shots

why would you hook shot with earl boykins?
i think its just fine.

well if you can post up by pressing down on the right trigger, why not config ur controller and assign that action to a diff button???

i have the PC version , no analogs , so i wonder if there is any way to post up ??

i mean , if this option is missing .... damn !
i dont want to play with jumpers and dunks , you need to have a post game !

I miss the post-up button too. Just dribble towards the basket and your player will turn around and post up.

inside players dont usually dribble towards the basket ....
this is simply sucks .

how the hell you supposed to have an efficient inside-outside game without posting ?

Can somebody just figure out how to make a damn post up with keyboard???? I've tried to revise the KFG file under the folder of \nba live 06\configs\, but it doesn't work. Can somebody try to make a editor or something else to make post up?? personnally speaking, i will like to play nba live 04 if i cant make a post up in live 06~~~

There is no way to post up using a keyboard. YOu need a 2 axis playstations type game pad in order to post up in the game....
To do it so, just HOLD the right analog axis down.

Damn, I'm a keyboard user and I'll be playing with the Raptors a lot. Toronto has no particular strong post players, but I like to play Rose as a guard sometimes and back down defenders like he does in real life. I find this very, very irritating.

i think this time ea makes a big mistake to cancel the post up button i wish they can patch this it is not possible to make a hook shot with Nowitzki that sucks

It's not the same thing, but try the "pro-hop / power dribble" button.

On a keyboard, you press an arrow key that points towards the basket and then at almost the same time you press E with the arrow key still held. Your player makes something like a shoulder charge, works okay although you need a bit of practice.

so what i found out is the only possibility to make a real hook shot is as a
Inside Scorers

Hold the left trigger and tap A,Cross,Pass: Hook Shot
