NBA Live 06 - Questions inside...

First of all I love this game =P and I have a New Orleans errr... Oklahoma City Hornets franchise that i'll get up in a bit but...

I was wondering if you guys could explain the new defensive system to me and if you could give me any tips on how to stop my opponent (AI) from getting into the lane against me... every time...

It's not just stopping the opponent from getting into the lane that i'm having trouble with but i'm also finding post defense extremely difficult in this game (compared to how it was in 05')...

So any tips for me =P?

And... (I have the game for the PS2) Do I have to hold back on the control stick the entire time in order to "d-up" my opponent? Or when I push back on the control stick will my player just automatically get into a defensive stance?

I haven't been able to figure that out and it's really bothering me...

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

On s side note i'm using some of the sliders found around this board with a few tweaks of my own but I still can't stop the scores from ending up something like "140-153" etc, etc... I'd really like to keep the quarters at 12 minute in length, so do any of you have any ideas on how I could make the scores lower?
