useless...
when I saw some screenshots about the playbook few months ago, I thought that EA brings back the playbook to us.
When I tried the game last night, I found that they added a Picture of every gameplay. So I waited for the animation to start but it didn't.
In fact, it's just a picture and I'd never know what the picture means, is it the initial positioning or the end positioning ? could anybody tell me about that since I am not good on set plays. I gived up the playbook last year since I don't know what the set plays run, not to mention I have to set the playbook every single game...
A bit disppointed about this...

when i go to playbook and setup the offense strategy, once I choose the set play from the left hand side, there is a corresponding strategy picture displayed on the right hand side.

Yea, im disappointed with the playbook as well, it just has circles to represent the players on the court, however it doesnt specify which player is which, so you can only assume :-\

when you call a play, click down on the right analog stick, it will show a marker ion the court where your player needs to go to trigger the play, its pretty effective too, it also shows an arrow if that player needs to run somewhere....

i havent play the game since Live is not yet available in our country but is it true that there is a play called Houston, detroit,Philly and such which make team plays really specific for preffered teams?

Which button (mapping) is that, exactly? I usually map the right analog click to "Call Timeout" in Live...
