yeah..i personally enjoy playing good d! yeah if feels rewarding:P especially playing it on rookie, which i changed to starter now:P but it feels rewarding when i kept my opponent uder 50 and win by 60:D yeah seems like this game will make me enjoy it..i have to play really good d to make this game feel simulation and NOT arcady...probably people in ign didn't know how to play d and siad it was arcady

I hate it when I win by like 15+.. Feels like it's too easy. But what I heard bout' Live 06 is great! Hard D, better gameplay and of course graphics. Can't wait till' Monday-Weds when the game comes out in Canada

Yeah, I have only 3 days not including today. But that's 2 days of school!! (Monday and Tuesday) I get it after school on Tuesday...

I can't understand why the Live group cannot implement a trade block, which is quite an important feature in a dynasty mode. It is pretty annoying since the 2k series has had it implemented for at least the last 3 years. That is going to affect my rating on this game.
I have played the demo on PS2 (I normally play Xbox) and so far it seems fairly good, although it is tough to gauge because I only played like 15 min and the controls are much different.
One thing I do like is if your player has a clear path to the bucket, a regular pass will become an alley-oop.
I am going to be renting both Live and 2k6 before I make a purchase. I am more interested in a realistic game than an arcadish game and from IGN's review, they seem to think it is not realistic...

^^^^so dat IGN dude said it wasnt realistic and the pc users(a lot of dem)are commending the sim in this years series and saying its even more realistic this year...who sounds more credible?dat one guy's opinion or the majority?

You can literally WALK past defenders. Even on Superstar.
Try it: play the ball into the post. There's no post up so just jerk your way around the defender with the turbo button. Press dunk. You've got two points.
I tried it with on-ball physical defence at 40 and at 100. Drop step effectiveness 0 but it does the drop step anyway.
In Live 2005, the low post was quite easy. Now it's a joke. A complete joke.

I racked up steals to 90 and boom, much harder. If I tried to run around opposing centers and pf's they grab the ball away. Maybe the game is not that bad.
