pre ordering from gamestop or ebgames?

Has anyone pre ordered a game before from these places?

Just curious if i ordered nba live 06 from there would i get it on the 27th or 28th? i guess i just dont want to wait for it to come if i could buy it in a store. But i dont know if i want to drive to the mall for it. 20 minute drive.

if you bought it online, it depends on the shipping method you picked

i personally havent ever done a pre order, but id think (say you did 5-10 day shipping), the game would come 5 days after the release date
