Anyone buying the LIVE GUIDE BOOK? 17 dollars!

I'm thinking about it, since IGN's just sitting on their thumbs this year. They have complete ratings for each team.

I have tons of games to exchange, so I'll just use the credit to buy it. It's pretty cool, beats reading the instruction booklet.

But 17 bucks! dayum.

What if you buy it, photocopy the ratings and then take it back? Or am I the only person cheap enough to do that.

Yeah, especially since the only useful things are actually the ratings... everything else would be either extremely basic, or could be answered by someone on here.

dont' they always have those typed up guides?

you could always just print the ratings from one of those.

..but that would use up a lot of ink......hmm........ :|

EA Sports sent me a Prima Guide with a copy of the PC version last year since they ran the Community Leaders program, which was cool and all. If it's anything like that, the ratings listings are probably the most useful aspect. If you're an experienced player or decent video game player you shouldn't need it. Most of that information becomes available for free online within a month of the release anyhow.

And if you're going to download any of the roster updates, the ratings on the guide would be useless

To tell you the truth, I can guarantee you that someone will have it online you can just download......

I wouldn't want it though, even with the complete ratings - considering i'm only using the Kings, and I know them like the back of my hand. :)
