Peja deserve to be a much higher than 70's..He is a great shooter plus an drive to the basket when he is struggling in long range. That guy is an all-star..I should say he is about 80-84.. (Y)

Sun Sep 11, 2005 11:52 pm

Yes finally someone other than kingsfanman agrees with me...THANK YOU (Y)

Mon Sep 12, 2005 12:29 am

80-84??? what

that's a rating for guys who aren't one dimensional. Peja can't rebound, or play D, he's not athletic or fast. Where does the 80 come from.

Mon Sep 12, 2005 12:45 am

It comes from...3 point shooting, field goals, freethrow, inside scoring, and offense awarness

Mon Sep 12, 2005 2:44 am

Inside scoring? Lmao...

Mon Sep 12, 2005 3:00 am

No i don't mean the Shaq inside scoring type...i mean like lay-ups or dunks

Mon Sep 12, 2005 3:04 am

I know that..

1. Peja doesn't dun.
2. Uh...he can lay it up..whoopie

Mon Sep 12, 2005 3:15 am

He dunks sometimes...and since we are talking about a video game then he dunks all the time

Mon Sep 12, 2005 12:07 pm

You people obviously never watch Kings games. Peja drives and decently well. He can also draw fouls on the outside jumper, which is not as easy to do as it seems.

Yes, we know he's a good unique shooter already..

Under all circumstances, the man should at least be rated 80. As I said, anyone who can get you 20 points, at least 5 boards, 5 assists, and can steal pretty well.. should be rated at least 80. End of story.. so let's all stop arguing lol. differences of opinion that's all. :)

Averaging 20ppg,5rpg,and 2apg is not bad..He is a great SHOOTER..

Peja can't rebound

He averaged 5 boards per game last season..Well he is a sf sometime shooting guard.

Where does the 80 come from.

Shooting from long range..An all-star..

Holy shit, how high did you rate all those guys! Almost everyone did except about 5-6 people!

Rating Wells around 70+ is bullshit, what did he do last season? NOTHING. Saying hes gonna be that high, is like saying Damon Jones should be 70....

And Peja doesnt deserve more than 78, not even that.

Brad Miller, 74,75.

Bibby, yeh hes a solid point, but hasnt done anything to make him standout as a point. No more than 78 for him.

Shareef, clearly shouldnt be more than 72, he failed a physical for christ sake, who does that, unless your name is Rob Traylor, who happened to have a heart condition.

Tue Sep 13, 2005 5:36 am

Ok i'm not even going to continue this ...it obviouse that you people(that think peja should be a 74 or something like that) don't watch Kings games...so you don't know what the HELL you are talking about

Tue Sep 13, 2005 11:26 am

lol, this is hopeless. Nets didn't want to take a chance on Shareef because of a bad knee, but I guess you didnt take the time to look at that huh?

Bibby, yeh hes a solid point, but hasnt done anything to make him standout as a point. No more than 78 for him.

That's the dumbest thing i've heard anyone say about Bibby. A point guard who is solidly one of the best in the NBA, "Doesn't stand out" . Lol, that makes me laugh. He's basically... basically almost the only point guard who averaged 20 points, (rounded up) and 6+ assists a game (with about 3 rebounds, just for kicks). heck, the man averaged more points than baron Davis, with just about 1 and a half assists under him. You need to watch Kings games before you come in here and try to start arguing.

Brad Miller, 74,75.

Now that's highly controversial. Brad Miller is one of the most efficient centers in the NBA. Very few centers, if any, can pass like him, shoot the mid-range like him, and grab boards. Brad is almost without a doubt a 80.

Ratings in the NBA aren't only on the past season alone. It's average ratings. Bonzi Wells is known to be a potent scorer, and he should most likely be rated a little over 70. Coming off the bench a lot of last year the man still averaged 10+ points. that's not too bad.

WOW!

Peja can only shoot? Hes got pretty much the best lay up in the league...

Bibby i say get around mid-late 80s
Peja and Brad Miller likewise.
Shareef will be early-mid 80s

and the bench will be mixed

Tue Sep 13, 2005 12:15 pm

Hes got pretty much the best lay up in the league...

Ok so that's pushing it.. he doesn't have the best lay up in the league. He's good, but not that good.

Bibby i say get around mid-late 80s

85 would be about perfect for him, anywhere from 82-85.

Peja and Brad Miller likewise.

Peja should be about 85, but brad should only be about 80-82

Shareef will be early-mid 80s

That I disagree. I'm gonna hafta say mid-late 70's for him.

Ok, ok...I am a die hard Kings fan and have been watching the Kings since before the Chirs Webber/ Vlade Divac age. So here is my break down of how the Kings will rank iun NBA Live 06 this year.

Mike Bibby- Last season average 19ppg, 4rpg,6apg in 38mpg

Mike is the floor leader on the Kings. Great passer, decent ball handler, all clutch.
Mikes only real weakness is his lack of D.

My option of his rating in 06 should be no less than 80, and no higher than 84.

Bonzi Wells- Last season average 10ppg, 3rpg, 1apg in 21 mpg

Bonzi is a very underrated player. He is great on transition, good inside post player, decent mid range shot, hustles, and comes with some baggage.Bonzi didnt get alot of PT last season due to confrontations with Mike Fettilo. When Bonzi plays 30 mins per game( which is what I am sure he will average this season)he puts up solid numbers. Check nba.com to see his stats from previous years.

My option his rank should be no less than 75 and no higher than 77

Peja Stojakovic- Last season average 20ppg, 4rpg, 2 apg in 38mpg

Peja peja...Its a love hate game with this guy. I love the guy but then again I want to break his neck sometimes. GREAT shooter! excellent free throw shooter, good on lay ups. Aside from his great shooting he doesnt really do much. The 4 rpg he averaged last was from the ball literally landing in his hands. Doesnt play hard, wont go for lose balls, doesnt hustle that well.

My option of his rating is a flat 80. No higher or lower

Shareef Abdur-Rahim- Last season averaged 16ppg, 7rpg, 2apg in34 mpg

What a great pick up for the Kings this season. Shareef can play both forward positions. Can run the floor, great free throw shooter, nice fake, good inside game, decent defender.

My option he should at between 79-82

Brad Miller- Last season 15ppg, 9rpg,3 apg in 37 mpg

Brad is one of the best centers in the league. He can do it all, shot, great passer, run the floor, excellent mid range jumper(should shot that more often!),great free throw shooter, decent defender.

In my option he should average between 83-85.

The bench--

Jason hart- Good all around point guard.Could easly start for most teams. Had the second best assists to turn over ratio. Good defender and 3 point shooter.

I think his rating should be 63-65

Kevin Martin- Has alot going for him.Kevin has been working his ass off all season on getting his game alot better. Average 19ppg in the summer league.

Rating 65-67

Francisco Garcia- A steal for the Kings in the draft! Has alot of potinetal! Great 3 point shooter, great shot blocker for his size(6'7,hustles and plays with alot of heart. He pretty much single handly took Lusieville under his wing to the final 4.Has yet to prove himself in the pro leagues though.

Rating 58-60

Kenny Thomas- Great rebounder for his size, decent midrage shooter.

Rating 60-63

Corliss Williamson- Very good backup! Can up off the bech and give you 20 ppg if given the time.Decent rebounder and defender.Plays with heart.

Rating 65-67

Brian Skinner- Excellent shot blocker! Good rebounder, and ok inside post player.

Rating 60

On the far end of the bench---

Jamal Sampson- All I know about him is that he is pretty tall(6'11) witha really good wing spand, and averaged 5rpg in 14 mpg

Rating 54

Ronnie Price- Have heard nothing but good things about this guy. I guess he really wowed Petrie in the summer league. So much so that he got signed with the kings.Still has yet to prove himself in the pro leagues.

Rating 53

This is what I think will be the ratings on the Kings in Live 06. Some may agree with what I said, some may not. Who knows what they will put the ratings at!

Tue Sep 13, 2005 12:35 pm

Very thorough. Thanks. :) I agree..
