I think you're onto something there Mercury. No wiser investment than buying a video game just to look at the box. ;)

How is gameplay overrated? :?

Yea, Xbox Live OWNS Ps2 live
Better graphics, better feel, smoother everything, MUCH faster loading times, etc....The only thing people can complain about is the remote...which every ps2 fan commonly bitches about...It aint all that bad once u get the hang of it tho...

I'm certain Mercury was being sarcastic there.

you should stop saying that you care about GAMEPLAY when what you really want is lame a** PRESENTATION like "more free throw rituals" "guys at the bench celebrating"....

asking for GAMEPLAY improvement would be like this = less blocks, change player-models physics so they don't go over each other like ghosts, etc.... things that involve 5 on 5 situations of the actual game, not what's inbetween of it.

Defenitely the gameplay would be the best way to improve the game. Dynasty is what makes the game playable for longer period of time and makes the game more interesting when you get tired of killing the CPU.

But I still wont call the 05 gameplay as terrible. It did have big flaws like when the players stop to receive a pass, but still it has been the best and most challenging NBA Live experience of all time. Its been almost a year since the release of 05 and Im still playing. It has been the version that have kept me playing for the longest time.

This is so true... It's the first NBA Live game in ages or forever for that matter that has offered challenge further than 10 games into the playing... Every other Live gameplay has become too easy to beat after a couple of games.

I still play it too...

I've been playing for a year and I can't win all the games?!?!?!? What's up with that? This has never happened before...

A challenge is something that the game sorely has needed in the past. The reason I like the managing side more probably is due to the fact that there was no point in beating the AI one more time 130-85 and I would just concentrate on building the best team I reasonably could for simulation.

Hopefully 06 will provide similar challenge so that even after months of gaming, not atleast all the games will be open-and-shut-cases... I just hate it when Stojko starts his killing spree from the three point line and there's very little you can do about it... It's like the real thing... If one has a hot hand, there's nothing you can do about it, it's like that in real life... San Antonio tried to stop TMac with all the possible means in those last 35 seconds, but just simply could not. They did however push him into making extremely difficult shots from the perimeter... There is no man alive that could have stopped him from making those shots.

About that TMac Comeback of the century vid, it's great when the commentators say that "what were the people thinking that were driving in their cars and heading for home already to beat the rush" and they also said "even we were wrapping it up for San Antonio already"... The damn coolest play ever... Wish I could someday shoot it like that

Do you think in dynasty mode they will do more with the draft? I preferred the running draft in 04 to the draft in 05. I liked seeing where other people I wanted were going, and what number pick they were.

Also, do you think they will give us more info about the rookies i.e. school, features, etc. before the actual draft? I think that would be a nice touch, so I can grab a Dukie or UNC or UConn player and just know they have to be good like Charlie Villenueva good...that wasn't really great syntax, but I think someone out there in the great vastness of cyberspace got what I was geting that!

I'm still hoping I'll get the Q&A done before the release, that will hopefully give us some more insight.

I hope that EA will put real draft picks so that we will be more interested in the draft
