Pre-Season in Live 06?

Does anyone know if there is a pre-season in NBA Live 06? I personally see it as a crucial addition to the game, as it gives you a chance (if you play realistically) to use those guys deep on the bench who never play during the regular season. (Eg. the all-stars on the pacers bench who play like 5 mins a game in their 27 appearances for the season, eg. Jonathan Bender)

It would be a nice addition for the dynasty mode. But Bender is no all-star!

haha, I know, but I think ALOT of people would be suprised to see how good he is! have you seen him play??? He's got game believe me!

Yea, having a better pre-season would be great for the dynasty. Pre-season games would be real nice, especially if they could capture the spirit of them. Like have the stands far from full, a bit looser gameplay and so on. Nothing about the dynasty has been revealed though, so it might as well be in the game as not be in it.. Rob over at IGN is going to play some of the dynasty and write a review of it rather soon though, so I guess we'll find out then.

And Da BaLLa; why not 'current-gen'? It's a game mode, not a graphics thing. A changed pre-season wont be any different on a next-gen game.

i'm not sure, but i remember playing it. mostly likely years ago though.

The memory limitations of the current consoles.

But I really like your idea though of having a pre-season.

i've been playing live for a long time too...maybe i was confused with another series then.

oh yeah, i've been playing live on PS and PS2, might be different then the PC verision.

I shouldn't think memory limitations would prevent the game from generating a pre-season schedule. That said, I'd be surprised to see it in NBA Live 06.
