Vintage Roster Patch

Postby Silky Smooth Vlade on Wed Jul 20, 2005 4:28 am

I know from time to time Andrew and others make retro rosters, from a specific past season. I was curious if anyone in the community still plans on doing this still, and if so which year? Perhaps we could start a vote in a new thread once we get some feedback. I would love either a 98-99 or a 99-00 patch, or maybe there's already one of those out there and it would just have to be adjusted to work in Live '06. What are all of your thoughts on this, are you interested and which if so, which year would you like to see?

Late 50's/around 1985. I would like to change history and play with Bias (Y).

I've been too lazy to ever finnish it, but i've toyed around with making a roster with each teams best effort from 79-current. Depending on my schedual, I might get it done for 2006.
I also have thought about doing a 93-94 roster where Jordan didn't retire, and Reggie Lewis and Len Bias are reserected. The only teams I have done from that are Boston and Phoenix though.

I've always loved those old season roster patches, it's a shame I didn't have the time to make another one this year for NBA Live 2005. If we can start a project early enough for NBA Live 06 and I have the time, I'd be happy to do what I can in between the current roster updates.

Just hearing about something like that excites me, but wouldn't there be a ton of duplicate players? Even so, that would be an amazing patch.

So far, 3 Danny Ainge's, 4 Doc River's, 3 Ron Harper's, 2 Dan Majerle's, 2 Tree Rollins', 2 Chris Webber's, and a few more I forgot. Each of the duplicates do have seperate ratings to show the raveges of age and differing roles in each team.
