the game looks too arcadish to me. Shaq is like Josh Smith in these vids. He throws down windmill and etc. i just hope they did it on purpose just to show all the superstar freestyles. I don't think they fixed the sliding problem yet and the game is too fast with shaq's crazy dunk and 3 pointers. hm... I think the stadium looks much more realistic. That's about it.

that amare dunk,he didnt get posision he just automatic dunk in face 4 metres moving player and rest movies- extra no improvement in physics of movement and terrible dribling totaly unrealistic - there is totaly no dribling again same shit you dont controll ball at all you "control "only some nhl player with stick ball ,changing hands dung dribling is auto and so fast that inever seen in game same with that freestyle nash move etc etc .totaly no improvement to me

Yes, but that's what Game Sliders are for. It was probably set up to around 90 so it wouldn't take half the clip to dribble up the floor.

The sliders for game speed make little difference in my experience... last time I played Live 05 it was way too fast for me (compared to ESPN 2K5) so I slowed it down to 30 and it was still too fast... I lowered it to 1 and it improved a tiny bit but it's too much really.

Shaq doing windmills? This is unforgetible, bravo EA once again u proved how stupid the working staff u have. I wish I could talk to the guy who a was supervisor at this project, wtf he was thinking. Shaq and windmills god that really makes me mad

You're overreacting. Shaq needs his own dunking dunkpack (last year it was 15) and they're probably still working on that, so they had to give him Amare's (10). This game still has 'work in progress' label on it.

I still haven't seen anything resembling defense in this year's game.

I haven't seem the videos as of yet but Shaq doing windmills sounds incredibly stupid to say the least.

Live 01-03-04 and 05 all had work in progress labeled all over them.. didnt stop them shipping it though..

They spend most of their time on teh visuals and less time on the actual gameplay.. I wouldn't mind seeing a new crew take over.

The crazy Shaq windmills were definately not a good sign, and the game was too fast, but that can be fixed with sliders. I just hope Shaq actually can't do windmills now because of superstar freestyle

It is NICE to find out that there's new camera angle and i hope to see a NEW press angle. The NET is not yet fixed and the only annoying move I've seen was the SHAQ windmill..

BUT in FAIRness, let's not expect a PERFECT gameplay and besides Gamesliders can help though..

NBA LIVE 06 so far seems to be far better in all areas and I hope to see deeper improvements in Dynasty mode..

Lacks defense, and lacks realism (windmills), maybe a tad too much fancy passes from Nash. The passing overall seems faster, I guess EA got tired of my bitching lol, but the Shaq windmill? Arrrgh, I hope it's still a game in progress, but I fail to see why they didn't put that in the first place. The fastbreak seems to work well, and I like the idea of the playcalling features.

From what im seeing...live 06 on pc wont be getting the major graphical overhall that will be seen on the next gen console versions....which will be a shame. :?

i dont think anyone here expects perfect gameplay, just improved gameplay. each year the game should get better and more realistic. so far what i am seeing i am not likeing, i might end up with just madden this year. would be the first year i ever skipped a ea basketball game too.

I can't believe all this EA bashing... Man, it's just ridiculous... It's not like we haven't seen all these graphical gadgets from them before every game.

You've gotta wait and see until we get the final game to really tell on how it is.

NBA Live 2005 is a good game... It is entertaining and challenging... There are some things in it that really piss even me off sometimes, but overall, it's a great entertaining game. I have no big fantasies about how magnificient the next game will be, I know that it will be better...

You guys that are suggesting that the team should be changed, think again... I don't ever want a year without NBA Live for the PC and I certainly don't want another NBA Live 2003... Don't forget about 2002 and 2003... 2002 wasn't even on the PC (and I hear it sucked pretty hard) and 2003 was just something other than basketball. Those were the direct results from the change of the creator team... Don't ever forget that...

Besides the shaq windmills i think it looked good, Quentin Richardson shot like he does in real life and Amare's dunks were cool.

Bud did you guys notice a couple different shooting forms? Look at Q taking a 3 in one of those videos compared to JJ. Pace looks pretty good though, but the dunking looks unstoppable.

Well, personally I don't play Live on PC so I could care less about whether it's not on PC for a year. If it meant the game coming back with a new team that was willing to improve the game instead of adding to the problems I'd be all for it.

1. The game speed IS up in those clips...I dont know about yall but it is very easy to tell when the game speed is high...

2. You can tell they where playing on an easy difficulty level just by the ease of their shots and dunks...Come on do u actually think its going to be that easy? Is it that easy in 05 to you all who are complaining?

3. The game isnt done...Shaq does not do windmills in real life...why would they make him do them in the final game, that shows they are not done with the dunk sets yet...

4. One thing they need to change is regular game self alleys...thats just NO ...If any coach saw a player do that in real life they would either get yelled and/or benched at if they made it or not because its just stupid and a high turn-over risk.

Some of you are expecting too much out of the game way too early but it is easy to see the improvements and the things that they didnt fix, but that does not mean they wont make it better just from those videos.

I dont know maybe thats just me...
