I dont know if anyone else noticed this but on this video
http://media.xbox.ign.com/media/740/740958/vids_1.html
you can see a red spot on the floor probably the place where point guard has to go to start a play from the playbook or something. It would be nice to have strategy that actually work and u can use plays to get open.

I read in an article on maddennation that it is a new play calling system. The player creates a new play and says where the point gaurd should go and whom he should pass it. Sort of like in March Madness. Go to the MaddenMania the guy who went to EA and checked out the game has a review there.

I like the new playcalling system, but it might not be useful if you're playing against a friend on the same computer/TV.
What's up with the Shaq windmills? He did two of them in those videos. It wasn't there last year, so now why the hell they would bring in that unrealism this year? Stupid, stupid.

instead of improving what they should be they are just working on more flash to sell the game to younger people.

Even after looking twice I can't seem to find that red spot you noticed on the floor. Enlighten me please?

it's also used to set up the half court trap and defense

In the 2nd video, at the 30 second mark, Nash moves to a purple spot.
At :42, a red spot apears for Jones.

Hmm, this would be a great addition so that you learn the plays but they should also enable it to be turned off/on, to test how much u understand your own plays... wonder if this means, you will be able to make a playbook?
