Will the NBA's new CBA deal be in Live 2006?

I assume some elements might make their way into the game, though NBA Live so far as had a fairly simplified version of the CBA in Dynasty Mode. Some of the finer points probably won't need to be implemented in NBA Live 06.

One of the key points is the age limit (19). I don't think they'll include it.

Well, It's not that hard to implement the 19 year old age limit, since all the generated rookies are based on a dbf file that tells the generator the proportion of rookies that come from high school, college or overseas and what age they are. All they have to do is just eliminate the high school column. We could probably do that one ourselves for 2005.

the shorter contracts and bigger salary cap should make its way into the game, i hope anyway

In theory those should be fairly easy changes to make, especially the salary cap.

Contracts might be a little tougher since they have to re-code some of the code for the contracts a plyer thinks he deserves. But they should still make it in.
