Please Fix these Bugs from NBA Live 2005

Mon Jun 20, 2005 10:09 am

-Blocks beyond 3 point line count as 2 point misses?

-Flat-footed rebounds don't always get counted as rebounds?

-When the ball is knocked out of bounds by the defense, the defensive team is given a turnover?

-Players are credited for blocks after a foul occurs?

-Passes that lead directly to baskets on fast breaks don't get assists if the player takes more than two dribbles?

I'm not sure about those 4, but I thought blocks weren't even counted as misses in the 1st place.

Blocks are misses now

I'm not sure if it was due to my latest roster patch or what, but I tracked blocks and misses, and they coincide. I'm pretty sure they didn't the last time I checked. I forgot another annoyance. I was playing today, and boxed out Caron Butler with Lebron James on a free-throw, and I watched the replay to see Butler walk through James to get the rebound. How annoying!

That one annoys me the most. Sometimes I go to check my turnovers and the number is far too high. Your TO's actually go hand and hand with your defensive agressiveness sometimes.

Blocked three point attempts are supposed to register as missed field goal attempts - three pointers still count towards a player's total field goal attempts and percentage. The problem is, sometimes blocked shots aren't counted as a field goal attempt.

I haven't noticed the issue with rebounds and assists are pretty accurate as far as how they are obtained, but I agree with the rest.

i am not very concerning about these kind of "statistical" bugs.

what i really concern is the bugs during the gameplay,
such as step on the 3-pt line which count for a three, not to mention it replays the play in the highlight;
players occasionally freeze (even in the air) when they are receiving the ball.

I hate the blocked shot doesnt count as a missed FG in the game and also happens all the time, when I grab the rebound and pass while the player is in the air when grabbing the rebound it doesnt count as a rebound.
Also sometimes when ya go up for a rebound and it blocks the ball away and the commentators: "Oh wat a block by ......".
They gotta fix all the little gameplay things.

Of course they are, what happens to your shot when someone blocks it.....It misses so of course its a miss

When pressuring the inbounds pass, often you can get a steal without statistically getting credited for it.

I have noticed a discrepancy in the rebound numbers aswell, we physcially counted how many boards a player collected and when we looked at the stat display, it was out.

When the ball is thrown out of bounds (usually on a long inbounds attempt) the ball can go out and hit an invisible barrier and actually come off that barrier and hit a player near the ball (for some reason the AI makes the player wander towards it).

When you sim a game up to the 3rd quarter, sometimes you can come in (via intervention) and a player with 6 fouls is still on the floor and doesn't get fouled out until his 7th :x

It's almost impossible to hit a shot from downtown past the half court line.

The worst part of the game is of course how easily the offense can beat the defense back after a score yet on a fast break off a defensive stop there always seem to be defenders in the face of the player with the ball. WTF??!!! This seems back to front. It should be almost a gimme to score on a fast break but in normal offence, it should be much more difficult.

Just off the top of my head.
