It kinda looks like Inside Drive to me. Especially that last pic.

They actually managed to get the cyberfaces almost PERFECT in 2005, now they seem to be throwing that all away in the name of the constant "total graphic overhaul" that they do to the game every year.

I don't like the "total graphic overhaul" anyway. The overhaul made the game look like crap in 2004 (and ripped off the 2K series look), and thus they had to fix it in 2005...but if they could just keep the graphics for one year and focus on improving the features and gameplay, they'd probably have a better game.

THANK GOD DOUG COLLINS IS LEFT OUT

We can never get through a game in TV about how he coached Jordan, Grant Hill, Rip, Lindsey Hunter, etc. Notice how they all get into their prime once he's not their coach anymore?

Steve Kerr is a good guy but I would also like to hear Kenny "The JET" smith and Sir Charles Barkley call regular games too not just allstar. Maybe they could switch back and forth that would be a good.

I'm guessing the Freestyle Superstyle, with playmaker, power, stopper etc, is replacing those strengths icons. So finally, the strengths have meaning.

Grant Hill got into his Prime after he was Coached by Doug Collins?

He went into "I Suck" mode.

Nba Live 2006 please allow us to hire/fire coaches. We see that everyday in the Nba, why not include it in the game? I don't understand. Now if that feature does in fact made it to the game, they should allow us fire the coach at anytime throughout the season and have the interin or the main coach assistant take over and also have a coach pool (with retired players, former coaches and others) ready and waiting for us to send them a deal :)

Coaches should also have a minimal impact in the game and their players. Take for example Phil Jackson coming back to the LA. He is definitely gonna make everybody in the roster play their best or at least play better than last season.

Yea Yea, maybe Coaches should have a rating to them as well, e.g.

Team Chemistry: can make the players offensive awareness higher, say... if the coach has a low team chemistry rating, you'll have heaps of passing turnovers

Team Morale, Team Leadership etc?

If not that complicated they should have something like in ESPN 2K5 Baseball. Simple coach rating and little boast in the teams overall rating because of the coach.

First they've got to implement team chemistry, morale etc for the hiring and firing of coaches to work properly, otherwise it's just a superficial change. That wouldn't be so bad, though the ultimate goal would be to have each coach have an impact on the team's play.

I hope those aren't renders, the lighting looks a lot better. They seem to have added mesh holes again, if they had it in Live 05, I hardly noticed it. I really like the lighting, Denver's jersey's actually look nice.

One thing they also seem to have gotten right is the black. In previous Lives the black jersey color hasn't been black, it's been a dark tint of gray. The Heat jersey's actually look black!

Grr, if these are renders. :x

Hahaha thats all good and well but the Miami and sonics jerseys don't have meshholes.

..also denver, detroit and atlanta no longer have meshholes

Top stuff EA Sports (Y).

And some new PC screens i found.
