Instead, we recently learned that the NFL 2K developers were combined with the NBA 2K team to begin work on NBA 2K6 for the Xbox 360. EA may have squashed the competition in football, but it better watch its back in when it comes to hoops.
At Microsoft, we previewed in-engine footage of a player tossing up shots.... There was no indication of polygons, skin glistened realistically, and the animation looked true to form. In some of the slow motion shots we were able to watch as the player's eyes followed the ball and a shot from above displayed the muscles in his back flexing as he stretched out his arms. Peter Moore, the head of Microsoft Game Studios, conceded that there was still a lot of work to be done on the flexing of the biceps and lower arms; details that no casual onlooker would catch

1st off........
![]()
cover boy
-either steve nash or lebron james
music
-more selection(less anoying music)
ratings
-more realistic: for ex: steve nash- 92; dwanye wade-86
player introductions
- showing team introduction video clip for home team
-have fireworks after team introduction, and smoke following it in the air to make it look even more realistic
nba all star weekend
-showing celebritys in front rowsCost way too much
-nba challenge(s)good idea
-celebrity gameagain, cost way too much
-more creative dunks in slam dunk contest(alley oops from other players and fans; a button to wave your hands and pump up the crowd before your dunk)
realistic tatics
-technical fouls in games (yelling at refs or shoving players)NBA will never allow this.
-show fans interaction after a big play
- players on bench and crowd standing up at crunch time (momentum)
-players loosening up more during play; no stiff shooting or stiff moves-being more flexible on the floor
-post game show (inside the nba)Cost too much and it would take up too much room on the cd/dvd/hard drive
exclusive teams
-u.s.a dream team(s)Good Idea... but not the 2004 one.
created players
-MANY more faces, hairstykes, etc...
dynasty mode
- avaliblity to create new jerseys as years progress
*new coaching mode (being able to run the team from a coaches prospective-every game is from the coaches point of view)require a brand new engine=too much time to make and too much money to produce
nba draft
- showing the players interacting with David Stern and his reaction to getting picked before standing at the podiumagain, take up too much room and time to make.
