Salary cap causes crashes?

I am playing dynasty mode and as Andrew said to determine the problem I should figure what i've done before the crash happens.
I edited the my dynasty roster on Live 08 Editor v2.3 by Ayiep, and I have edited the Contracts , I changed the years left span to nine years and all their salaries to 10,000 dollars only

Is it the main cause of the problem?

An invalid value or corruption somewhere. Not knowing all the changes you've made, I couldn't possibly say where specifically.
