A question about game speed

Postby Scott900091 on Wed May 23, 2012 5:23 am

Does the game speed also affect the game clock? To keep my scores more realistic I've tried lowering the game speed as low as 26 but it seems the game clock also runs slower.

really? I've had the same issue as Scott, turn it all the way down and you can definitely notice the time going slower

I guess I haven't played it on a speed lower than around 40. I'll have to give it a shot.

I've been using your sliders on allstar and you have the gamespeed set to 33. Did you increase it to 40? By the way great sliders!

As far as the gameclock goes I remember in the Madden games gamespeed also affected the gameclock. I'm starting to think that the higher the game speed the lower the scores will be because you don't have as much time for offense, maybe anywhere from 36 in the lower 40's. Of course if its to high it will feel to arcadish.

What would be nice is if there was a way to mod the gamespeed without affecting the gameclock.

I haven't adjusted (and henced looked at) the sliders for some time, so I probably still am playing on 33; for some reason 40 stuck out in my mind. Having not changed them for a while, I've probably forgotten any noticeable difference between playing on higher and lower speeds in regards to the gameclock.

Glad to hear that you like the sliders. :)
